Style Scene

For my next pick...I found two different designers on Style Scene. The first one is from Zeto, it's an awesome blue bell sleeved t-shirt with a tree print. I always love a bell sleeve, and it happened to be a favorite color of mine...so I had to feature it! The other piece I chose is by Margarita Saplala and it's also a tree print, it has banding at the bottom and on the oversized sleeves, it's truly a beautiful piece....great for a night out! Moral Fabric On Etsy

It's rare that I find a t-shirt with a message, especially for menswear! I am always looking for something for my husband...and I may end up buying him this tee from Moral Fabric. He's a pacifist in his own way...a strong man who chooses to use his brain before is braun, (tho there's plenty of braun he could use!) This t-shirt has "Ahimsa" on the front in a strong and beautiful design. Here's an explanation of the t-shirt from the listing in Moral Fabric's Etsy Shop:

My Bonnie & Clyde : Nicole Rae Styer

The next designer I found on My Bonnie & Clyde, a great online boutique filled with serious Indie goods!! Everything from music, to accessories to artwork...allthough today I am featuring a clothing designer. I was browsing and these two pieces by Nicole Rae Styer made me stop and click...look...and drool! They are so adorable and funky and feminine and FUN!!! Elfin House

I found the most unusual knitwear last night! Elfin House makes beautiful ethereal pieces that look as though they float on your body. They are delicate and feminine and have a sweetness to them. The perfect light sweater for spring or summer, some are sleeveless...and some are flutter or cap sleeved. The colors run from lemony yellows to peach, to soft pinks and corals...there are even lilacs and beautiful blues! I am a sucker for a great pattern, or texture or cut. The next spot I found...has all three! It's the Skirt Spot!!! Of my three choices, two are really Spring-wear whilst the last one is merely a selfish indulgence in one of my favorite color combinations! Nooworks Black Forest

I happened to be browsing about the American Heart Association when I found my next pick. On a more personal note, my father has had numerous heart problems, starting with 6 bypass surgery when he was only 42, to more recently at 67 having both his mitral and aortic valves replaced. It was grueling sitting there for 8 hours...but it paid off, he is healthier and happier today thanks to what the doctors are capable of doing. They can only do so much research and develop so many procedures thanks to numerous donations to their cause. So...to make that long story make sense...Nooworks has a Black Forest collection and one of their feature items is a "Heart Pattern Sweatshirt". 10% of all of the sales from this sweatshirt are donated to the American Heart Association. It just struck a chord with me, and I was compelled to feature this item! Not only does it donate some of your dollars to a good cause...but you will incidentally look pretty cool wearing it!! They are offered in teal on brown and teal on grey. You should also check out the rest of the shop, as there are some seriously awesome t-shirts for both men and woman!!! Soleil Rouge

Ok, I am forever looking for clothing that is bold and beautiful and different...and there are so many talented people with needles out there now, that it's easier to find something than it used to be...but sometimes you come across a certain piece that just makes you WANT IT. Point blank, this Libbie Dress from Soleil Rouge is it for me! From the simple slit collar to the straight lines and retro cut, it makes me WISH I could wear it! Not for the faint of heart the pink and black Libbie dress is a bold statement, and definitely begs "look at ME". I am heartfelt in saying that I am jealous of the woman who eventually owns, and sports this piece!!! Take a look:

Where to find the cutest tees for spring...I really need something fresh, and pretty and in a great color...something different and balanced and beautiful. FOUND IT!
