AO3 Designs!

I really have to share this next post because the fabric on this bag is awe inspiring. How can I not share the shapes, textures and designs of AO3 Designs on Etsy? As far as I am concerned it should be punishable by law to NOT own this bag. Huge swirls of beautiful rich greens, reds and aquas, and details galore, aside from the obvious awesome shape make it a must have! Please take a look at the rest of the shop too..this is just MY personal Tuesday temptation item!

Charm Design

All though summer's not over yet, I am already yearning for those rich fall colors, so that's probably why I am posting these beautiful bags by Charm Designs. I was really attracted to the shape of the bags as well as the color scheme, and I'm a little afraid that if I post them someone else might buy them before I can! Please take a look:

Flicka Bags on Etsy!

Another main page find this week are these versatile wristlets from Flicka Bags on Etsy! I fell in love immediately with the green one...and then the red...kind of a holiday vibe when I see them up together, but I was mostly attracted to the bold bright colors and patterns on them. They can also be used as a wristlet, or a clutch...and even has an optional detachable key ring...they are very thoughtful, and obviously well designed! Thanks Flicka! Take a look at the shop:

Dabni Handmade and Custom Accessories!

I chose the next bags by Dabni McCrary because the pattern caught my eye! They are bright and bold with lots of perky colors...just what I need to keep up with the unending color palette in my closet! Right now there is only one fabric available in her store, but if you check out this link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dabni/ you will find a myriad of colors and patterns to choose from! Just contact her through her Etsy shop to inquire! The other thing that really made me want one were the photos of the inside of the bags, they have many more compartments than I normally see in handmade bags...a girl does need places to hide all her stuff after all! So...take a look, they are really well done!

"Pretty in Pink MaryGrace Tote" $118

Don't forget, there are more fabrics to choose from here:

Lucha Workshop

This post comes directly from a bag that caught my eye on the Etsy main page last night! Lucha Workshop's Esty Store has a mixture of handmade items from pillows to t-shirts and of course bags! The details like placement and stitching on the bags makes them a step ahead of the masses..."attention to detail" is my favorite phrase...and these pieces are perfect examples!

Please stop by and check out the other items in the shop, I am featuring two bags here...but there is much more to see!

Katie James!

I have forever been attracted to the look and feel of silk dupioni. So, upon finding Katie James and all of the magnificent items on the site...I am hooked. I have picked my favs, the pink checkbook cover, and the jewelry case. Both constructed for function while being decadent in silk! I LOVE the little pockets in the jewelry case, other's I've seen are just one big case, no dividers so when you do wanna wear something you have to untangle it first. It's ingenious...and beautiful and I want it...lol...other than these items there is also a clever little doggie treat bag made of pleather that you can carry your treats in while walking your best little 4-legged bud! Too many beautiful things to list here...please check it out yourself!

My Favorites on Etsy Day # 4

Ok...so moving on to bags. I have this issue...I always WANT them...and then I end up buying them...and then I have SO MANY I never know which ones I want to use! Really...most of them are the smaller ones. All handmade...which is easy beacause I can rationalize this by saying to myself, "Kristen...you are supporting other Indie artists like yourself...". And therein lies the problem...there is no bad side to buying these bags...and the outcome? No more paycheck! lol...Check out these awesome favs:

Baby Petunia!

I don't know about you…but I LOVE to use a pretty diaper bag as my messenger. I found this brand a year or so ago, and I LOVE THEM – Petunia Picklebottom available at Baby Petunia online! Aside from the ease of carrying all of my stuff…these beauteous bags have SOOO much room in them they should be illegal…and on the off chance you're out with a friend who needs a changing pad...there'll always be one built into the zipper compartment! A friend of mine actually uses the changing pad to eat her lunch on instead of the park benches in the city…smart cookie huh? Anyway…check them out, the colors and patterns will knock your socks off…the price might as well…but it's a bag…so anything goes with the budget!

I am...again a fan of everything with an asian-styling...so it's no surprise that I
loved
"Sophie Says Go" on Etsy from today's pick on their main page! What a great bag! A beautiful spring color with a lovely striped lining. The structure of the bag caught my eye as well...I love the straight lines with the round lantern accents. Please take a look and check out her

Kimono Momo

I think I may have mentioned my penchant for all things Asian at some point, if I did…this next pick shouldn't come as a surprise! The colors and patterns used on the bags at Kimono Momo are easily some of my favorites...and the scarves are so striking there's no way you could resist! Pattern placement is important with these types of accessories…and it is so well done at Kimono Momo! If you are looking for something different, perhaps a piece of Japanese history…this is the place to find that truly one of a kind accessory!

www.hazelbrowndesigns.com

I was perusing my bookmarks today and came across the most beautiful patterns...on some FUN BAGS! Now...I personally have too many bags...and am always in the market for more...but the variety of great shapes and the vibrant colors plastered across these pieces made me feel the need to share! The Site is Hazel Brown Designs, Hazel hails from Illinois and hosts handbag parties for anyone who lives close enough!

This first bag I covet is a staple favorite of mine black and white! The dots are fun and bright and I was instantly attracted to it! (could it be my penchant for black, white and reds....?) The "light bright carry all" costs $60. It is described as "A clean-lined tote, not too big and not too small, in a black and white retro print.." I was drawn in by the dots take a look:

The next piece I was killing for was the smaller wristlet in a beautlful arrray of spring colors it's the " robins egg kashmir wristlet"...robins egg blue, a faded camo green and an apple green dupioni silk accent at the bottom for $22? What could be bad?

This last one is a purely selfish find...it has me written all over it! Reminicent of a Pucci print...splashes of many beautiful bright colors. You know it goes with your entire wardrobe...so what are you waiting for?? The "Hippie Chick Mini" is perfect for when you're running out and just don't wanna lug the big bag...and at $16...you don't even have to think twice!

Please take a look at Hazel Brown Designs...all of her bags are beautious....there are simply too many to list! If you do get there...please let her know where you found her! 8) Happy Shopping!

Angela Liu Designs: SanFranciscoCrafts on Etsy

I was looking for the perfect gift for the holidays and found it on Etsy in Angela Liu's shop called SanFranciscoCrafts! This beautifully crafted handbag was a custom order for a friend, so I contacted Angela and was able to choose from many fabric options! When it arrived, it was so gorgeous that I bargained for borrowing rights before handing it over to my friend!

I haven't had a chance yet to snatch up one of the next pieces, allthough this red flowery one is calling me...these fabulous little zipper pouches are so cute...and interchangeable...I mean you can totally have more than ONE...(or two....or three...) 8)
And ok...as if that wasn't enough to make you check out her etsy shop...here's MORE! There are also these awesome messenger bags, in great patterns, and perfect for jetting to class, or running some errands....or...just looking GOOD! I covet this one in particular:

So please check her out at her etsy shop and let her know where you found her! Thanks for looking!
